I am the Wildlife Program and Communications Coordinator for the Cornell Wildlife Health Lab; managing web content, educational webinars, and social media platforms Twitter and Instagram. I recently graduated from Cornell majoring in Entomology (yay spiders!), minoring in Infectious Disease Biology, focusing on science communication. I am interested in wildlife health outreach, educating the public on the importance of wildlife population health, and how disease surveillance is essential in predicting outbreaks and potential pandemics. I am also interested in the relationship between wildlife species and the invertebrates that cause disease, with a focus on pathogen transmission and how infectious diseases can impact population health.
