I am a Research Support Specialist I for the Wildlife Health Program at the Animal Health Diagnostic Center. I coordinate specimen submissions from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and manage the data associated with them, as well as assist with laboratory work, research projects, and on the necropsy floor. I received a BS in Conservation Biology from the College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry in 2014. I have since worked with New York endangered/threatened/special concern species, with an emphasis on bog turtles, timber rattlesnakes, and bats. Having worked previously in the veterinary field in varying capacities, I am particularly interested in the intersect between domestic animal health and wildlife health.
